Production Process of EN10217-2 ERW Steel Pipe

Raw material preparation: The factory selects the steel strip coil that meets the standard as the raw material. Workers check the quality, size and chemical composition of the steel strip. This ensures that raw materials meet production requirements.

Strip uncoiling: Unroll the rolled steel strip to prepare for subsequent processing.

Steel belt leveling: Straightening and leveling the steel belt through the leveler to eliminate the bending and wavy shape of the steel belt. This can ensure the smooth progress of subsequent processing.

End cut: Cut the two ends of the steel strip to ensure that the butt is accurate when welding.

Steel strip forming: The steel strip is gradually bent into a tube by the forming machine to form the preliminary shape of the steel pipe.

High frequency resistance welding: The resistance heat generated by the high frequency current through the contact point is used to heat the edge of the steel strip to the welding temperature and pressure to achieve welding, forming a solid weld.

Weld treatment: Remove the burrs on the inside and outside of the weld, and carry out appropriate heat treatment. This can improve the structure and properties of the weld.

Sizing and shaping: The sizing machine accurately adjusts and shapes the diameter and shape of the steel pipe. In this way, the factory can ensure the dimensional accuracy and appearance quality of the steel pipe.

Non-destructive testing: Workers will use ultrasonic, eddy current and other non-destructive testing methods to check the quality of steel pipe weld and pipe body. This ensures the reliability and safety of the steel pipe.
