Socket Weld 45° Elbow

Production Process of Socket Weld 45° Elbow

Raw material preparation: The factory selects the appropriate steel or alloy material, cuts it, and obtains the blank for the socket weld 45° elbow.

Bending: Workers will use a pipe bender or mold to heat the billet (for some materials that need heat treatment). And apply an external force to bend it into a 45° arc. This process requires strict control of the heating temperature and bending force to ensure the shape and dimensional accuracy of the elbow.

Port processing: Fine processing of the socket and socket at both ends of the elbow, including turning, boring, chamfering and other processes. This ensures the finish and dimensional accuracy of the socket surface, facilitating subsequent welding and sealing.

Quality inspection: Workers carry out strict dimensional inspection, appearance inspection and non-destructive testing (such as X-ray detection, ultrasonic detection, etc.) on the elbow. In this way, it can ensure that the product meets the design requirements and quality standards.

Surface treatment: According to customer requirements, we will carry out the surface treatment of the elbow such as rust removal, sandblasting, painting or galvanizing. This step can improve its corrosion resistance and appearance quality.

Packaging delivery: according to the order requirements shipped to the customer.

Structural Characteristics

Precise Angle: The Angle of the elbow is strictly controlled at 45° to ensure smooth fluid steering.

Various materials: stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel and other materials can be used according to needs. This can meet the needs of different media and use environments.

Socket structure: one end of the socket is used to insert the pipe. The other end is a socket or flange connection surface, which is easy to weld or connect with other pipe components.

Smooth inner wall: reduce fluid resistance and improve transportation efficiency.
