Physical And Mechanical Properties

Chemical composition: The main chemical composition of ASTM A36 Angle steel includes carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S). And other alloying elements that control these elements within a specific range. This ensures the strength and toughness of the steel.

Mechanical properties: The Angle steel has good strength and toughness. The yield strength is usually not less than 250 MPa and the tensile strength is not less than 400 MPa. Therefore, it also has good weldability and processability.

Physical properties: The density of this steel is about 7.85 g/cm³. Physical properties such as thermal conductivity and coefficient of linear expansion are also consistent with the general characteristics of structural steel.
