Steps to Use Self-Drilling Screws
Prepare tools: Select the appropriate electric drill (recommended power is 350-500W), sleeve, and drill nail.
Positioning: Determine the screw installation position. Workers need to make sure that the screw and drill are perpendicular to the surface of the molded steel plate. And squeeze hard to create a center point to prevent the screw from sliding and drifting.
Drilling: Start the electric drill and use the appropriate force to make the screw cut in slowly. Then gradually apply force and speed up, keeping the direction of force in the same vertical line as the center point.
Tapping: After the screw penetrates the substrate, the chip removal will be stopped. At this time, the speed of the drill remains unchanged, and pay attention to the rotary torque of the drill. When the rotation becomes easier, the tapping is complete.
Traction fixation: Quickly slow down the drill speed and reduce or stop the application of force. Then carefully screw the screws into place.
