S7 cold work tool steel is an impact resistant tool steel characterized by good hardenability and high strength and tempering stability. Because of its superior performance, it is suitable for working at higher temperatures and higher impact loads, and is also suitable for manufacturing hammer forging dies.

Features of S7 Cold Work Tool Steel

(1) Excellent corrosion resistance, strong ductility, good damage resistance and good toughness of the cutting edge of the mold

(2) Good hardenability, uniform carbide distribution, a certain impact load and good wear resistance and air quenching performance,

(3) The size deformation after air quenching is small, the carbide is uniform and fine, so the wear resistance is very good.
