Aluminum sheet is a rectangular plate made of aluminum ingot rolling. It has the advantages of light weight, corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity loss and so on. Because of this, it has a wide range of applications in the construction industry, vehicle manufacturing, ship manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, electronics industry.
Depending on its thickness, the required precision, and the tools and equipment available, workers can cut the sheet in a variety of ways. Here are some common cutting methods.
Manual Scissor Cutting Method
1. Prepare tools: a pair of scissors, ruler.
2. Use a ruler to draw the lines to be cut on the aluminum sheet.
3. Place one blade of the scissors on the board and the other blade under the board.
4. Close the scissors with force and slowly cut the aluminum sheet along the drawn lines.
5. Note: Cutting with manual scissors requires greater force and may produce sharp edges. It is recommended to use a sheet with a smaller thickness for cutting, while taking care to protect hands and eyes.
Electric Cutting Method
1. Prepare tools: electric scissors and ruler.
2. Place the ruler on the board and use a pencil or other marking tool to draw the lines that needed be cut.
3. Fix the board on the workbench and insert the electric scissors into the power supply.
4. Slowly move the electric scissors along the drawn line to cut the board into the desired shape.
5. Precautions: When cutting with power tools, pay attention to safety, such as wearing personal protective equipment such as gloves and goggles. At the same time, choosing the right tool head can make the cutting smoother.
Laser Cut Aluminum Sheet
1. Prepare the tool: laser cutting machine.
2. Place the board on the work table of the laser cutting machine. And use a ruler or other tools to draw the lines.
3. Adjust the parameters of the laser cutting machine, including laser power, cutting speed, etc.
4. Start the laser cutting machine and cut along the drawn lines.
5. Note: Laser cutting requires high-precision equipment and operating technology.
