Especially in the environment containing chloride, such as seawater or chloride solution, its ability to resist pitting corrosion, crepitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking is much higher than that of ordinary stainless steel materials.
3. Good toughness: even in low temperature environment, 2205 stainless steel can maintain good toughness and impact toughness, not easy to brittle fracture.
4. Good weldability: it has good weldability and can be connected by a variety of welding methods, such as TIG welding, MIG welding, etc., which makes it an advantage in the manufacturing of complex structures.
