Production Process Of Annealing Cold-rolling Steel Plate

1. Billet preparation

Hot rolled strip steel with a thickness of 1.5 to 6mm is selected as the cold-rolled billet. Before entering the cold rolling production line, these strips need to go through strict quality inspection to ensure that their width, thickness tolerance and plate shape meet the requirements of cold rolling.

2. Pickling

In order to remove the iron oxide scale and dirt and other impurities on the surface of hot rolled strip steel, hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid and other acid pickling. This step ensures the smooth surface of the strip and creates good conditions for subsequent cold rolling and surface treatment.

3. Cold rolling

At room temperature, the worker would roll the pickled steel strip, thereby reducing its thickness to the desired size. In the cold rolling process, it is necessary to strictly control the rolling force, rolling speed and reducing rate, etc., to ensure the dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties of the strip.

4. Degreasing

Because the surface of the strip will be coated with lubricating oil during the cold rolling process. And the grease will volatilize in the annealing furnace and remain on the surface of the strip to form black spots. It is necessary to degreasing before annealing. The common degreasing method is chemical degreasing, that is, the use of degreasing agent to remove oil.

5. Annealing

Annealing is an important process in the production of cold rolled sheet steel. Its purpose is to eliminate work hardening in cold rolling process, restore the plasticity and toughness of steel plate, and improve the structure and performance of steel plate. The annealing process is usually carried out in protective gas (such as hydrogen, nitrogen, etc.). The determination of temperature setting and holding time directly affects the performance of steel plate.

6. Leveling

Workers need to level the annealed strip to obtain a flat and smooth surface and uniform thickness. In this step, they need to control the leveling force and leveling speed and other parameters to avoid adverse effects on the surface quality and mechanical properties of the strip.

7. Shearing

According to the order requirements, shearing strip, including transverse cutting and longitudinal cutting. Transverse cutting is to cut the strip to the desired width, and longitudinal cutting is to cut the strip to the desired length. After shearing, the cold-rolled annealed steel plate becomes the final product.
