Operation Cautions of NM500 Plates
1. Cutting and processing
When cutting NM500 wear-resistant plate, workers should choose the appropriate cutting tools (such as plasma cutting machine, laser cutting machine, etc.) and parameters. This ensures the quality of the cut and the smoothness of the section.
Before processing, the plate should be inspected to ensure that there are no cracks, inclusions and other defects. During processing, workers should control the processing temperature and deformation. In this way, cracks can be prevented or material properties can be reduced.
2. Welding
When welding wear-resistant plates, workers should choose the appropriate welding materials and process parameters.
Before welding, the welding area should be cleaned to remove impurities such as oil and rust. Welding heat input and interlayer temperature should be controlled in the welding process to prevent welding cracks and deformation.
After welding, necessary testing and treatment should be carried out on the weld (such as grinding, stress relief annealing, etc.). This ensures the smoothness and performance of the weld.
