ERW Pipe Manufacturering Process
In order to achieve the skin effect and proximity effect, high-frequency current is used to heat and melt the pipe blank edge and apply pressure using a squeeze roller. The steel pipes that are welded are simpler to manufacture, more efficient, have a wide variety and specifications, and require less equipment, but their general strength is lower than seamless steel pipes. In another way, we could call it 33.4mm ERW Steel Pipe. And ERW Steel Pipe ranges from 21.6mm to 609.6mm, and 1-inch equals 33.4mm. ERW Steel Pipe is available in several sizes from 1/2-inch OD to 24-inch OD in a variety of lengths up to 100 feet. Surface finishes can be either bare or coated, and processing can be done on-site to customer specifications.
